Happy 2011!
So in a few hours it’s 2011! 2010 was wonderful to me, yes there were the bad moments but the good moments made it the best year i’ve ever had. - and you can expect a rambly ol’ essay post about all of that in the next few days!! So much has happened, i hope the year wasn’t just a beautiful dream!!

The truth behind Greyhound Racing
I realise i’ve posted a lot about the Solihull centre, the person who brought the kennels to Nicola and Leona’s attention is a friend of mine (and an amazing person) and animal charities are close to my heart.
At least 10,000 greyhounds “retire” from racing in Britain every year at the average age of 2 1/2 years, either through injury or poor racing success. Of course...

Leona's Summer Visit To Daybreaks
On what seemed like a normal day on Tuesday, whilst covering the kennels for Ruth and Rob while they are on holiday, out of the blue came a phone call. It was Nicola, Leona Lewis’ agent. Leona Lewis was appearing at the NEC.
Nicola had received a letter from someone about our work at Daybreaks and Leona Lewis had expressed a desire to come and meet our greyhounds.
